Pastor's Message
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,Dear Beloved in Christ,
Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
Paul writes to the church in Colossae:
“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” (Colossians 1:9)
In life, we carry many desires—for ourselves and for those we love. We may hope that our loved ones attend a good university, find meaningful work, marry a loving and caring spouse, build strong friendships, raise healthy children, and live long, fulfilling lives. These are all good and worthy things to pray for.
Yet none is greater than the prayer Paul offers: that we “be filled with the knowledge of [God’s] will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.”
The world encourages us to live from a secular worldview, valuing what it deems important. But God calls us to live from a Christian worldview—one that is biblically grounded and centered on what He desires for us to be and do. As we seek His will through His Word, He grants us spiritual wisdom and understanding.
This is my prayer for you and for all of Bethlehem Church: that as we devote ourselves to His Word—through personal devotions, Bible studies, and worship—we may grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
To Him be all glory, now and forever.
God’s blessings,
Pastor Joe Glombicki
