Get to Know Us
We are God’s people living as salt and light through love, service, and witness.
What We Believe
At Bethlehem, we believe that:
The Bible is the Word of God, divinely inspired and without error in its teachings about God, life, and salvation.
Salvation is a gift from God—no one can earn their way into heaven. As Scripture declares, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
God desires a personal relationship with every person, a relationship that is established through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
God has a purpose for all who trust in Jesus, calling them to live as His redeemed people.
God has given His Church two Sacraments—Holy Baptism and Holy Communion—through which He pours out His grace and forgiveness. In Holy Baptism, God grants us His Holy Spirit and the gift of faith. In Holy Communion, we receive the true Body and Blood of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sins, in accordance with the doctrine of Real Presence.
As a congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS), we joyfully uphold these biblical truths, standing firm in faith and sharing God’s love with the world.
Our Core Values
We Are Bethlehem
Our mission is to share the living water of Jesus Christ with all who thirst.
Our Strategy for Ministry
At Bethlehem, our strategy for ministry is built on the foundational concept of GROW—a simple yet powerful approach to spiritual and community growth. Each letter represents a key aspect of our mission: going out, reaching maturity, owning burdens, and working together. We strive to create an environment where everyone can grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and live out their faith in meaningful ways.
Going
Out
Establishing an obvious presence in the community
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
Reaching
Maturity
Helping believers to grow into the likeness of Christ
"...until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4:13)
Owning
Burdens
Loving and supporting one another in joyful times and in challenging times
"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2)
Working
together
Working as a unit based on each of our gifts and passions
"It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service...." (Ephesians 4:11–12)
