Annual Couples Retreat
Every spring married couples of Bethlehem head to a beautiful retreat center on the shore of Lake Geneva just over the border of Wisconsin. The retreat begins on Friday evening and ends Sunday just before noon. The couples enjoy fun, food, and games, along with a few informal learning sessions that are intended to enhance their marriages. An ample amount of “free time” is included in the weekend as well.
Sunday Rally Day Picnic
Rally Day is the start of a new year of teaching and learning. It signifies the end of summer vacation and the return to Sunday school. It is the time to recognize and honor both those who teach and those who learn; all who nurture faith in others. The picnic and children singing at sometimes outdoor worship services provides a unique opportunity for parents and teachers and other congregational members to celebrate their ministry of Christian education.
