The Sunday School children are once again preparing to assemble shoeboxes filled with gifts to be sent to children in need around the world. Each box is an opportunity for a boy or girl to experience the love of God in a tangible way and hear the Gospel.

A brochure is available explaining a little bit about Operation Christmas Child and how you can help the Sunday School children fill these shoeboxes. Our goal is to fill at least 20 shoeboxes with small toys, stuffed animals, crayons, notebooks and toiletry items.

A cash or check donation in any amount would help us reach our goal of assembling 20 shoeboxes. No donation is too great or too small. All donations will be used to purchase items for the shoeboxes. Simply leave your cash or check donations in the Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes located at the entrance of both churches. Checks should be made payable to “Bethlehem Lutheran Church” with “Operation Christmas Child” written on the memo line.

Thank you for helping our Sunday School children support this great Mission! If you have any questions, please contact Karen Lawson at 847-975-1913.
