If there’s enough interest a weekend will be selected at a retreat center no more than 60 to 90 minutes away. Signing up means you might attend and would like to hear more. It doesn’t lock you in; it just helps us plan this fun getaway weekend based on the size of the group interested.

JUNE MISSION OF THE MONTH • F.I.S.H. FOOD PANTRY

FISH logoFriend I Shall Help was founded by volunteers in 1970. The number of families it serves grows each month. It serves residents of Dundee and School District 300. F.I.S.H. helps families wrestling with job loss, illness and other emergencies and also lower income citizens, senior citizens on a low fixed income, single parents at home caring for young children and others impacted by seasonal layoffs. F.I.S.H. receives referrals from the Dept. of Public Aid, the Dundee Township Supervisor’s Office, churches and social agencies. Walk-ins are also helped as needed. Summer and no more school breakfast and lunch programs means many clients need even more help this time of year. Thank you for helping F.I.S.H. help so many! His In Service Ministry/Missions

We’ll help you out, have samples to look at, have needles, patterns and wonderful donated yarn just waiting for what you can do for someone. Speaking of yarn and supplies, thanks for all the fantastic donations and also a special, heartfelt thank you to everyone who has already joined us knitting, crocheting and donating such beautiful creations for so many that benefit from our mission.
