NEW LUTHERAN FAITH CLASS • 6 SESSIONS
THURSDAYS, STARTING JULY 16, 7PM • FELLOWSHIP HALL

All are invited–from those new to Christianity to life-long Lutherans. If you plan to attend these sessions, learn more about the Lutheran Faith and meet some new and longstanding Bethlehem members doing the same, please add your name to the sign-up sheets at any service or contact the Church Office.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD • JUNE/JULY=24-COUNT CRAYON PACKS

In less than 4 months we start packing 50 filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Please help our Sunday School students by donating items collected in the black laundry basket just inside the Sunday School room. This month’s item: 24-count packs of crayons.

Home Huddles are small groups of Christian friends (4-10 strong) meeting together at a host-home once a month for:

  • Snacks & Socializing
  • Non-threatening Bible Discussion
  • Sharing Needs & Prayers

east dundee depotWe’ll meet at the bakery and visit local businesses around The Depot and view the improvements on River Street in East Dundee. At 11AM we’ll join Phil Aleo, author and photographer of many historical books about our area. He’ll take us on a historical walk of the Haeger Mansion and Haeger Potteries. Please wear your walking shoes & maroon Bethlehem T-shirt if you’ve got one.

 

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF NORTHERN FOX VALLEY
JULY 31, 2015 • 25TH ANNIVERSARY & 100TH HOME!

Habitat for Humanity is celebrating its 25th anniversary July 31st and in October they will begin their 100th home on Fremont Street in Elgin. Coincidentally home #100 is going up across from their very first home project! Another currently being worked on on Robin Road in Carpentersville will be completed this fall. Thrivent is helping with that home and a 25-day volunteer project on yet another home at 708 Elma Street in Elgin will soon be finished. Many caring people and organizations are accomplishing wonderful things in these neighborhoods! His In Service Ministry/Missions
