As part of the Dickens in Dundee celebration on Saturday, December 1st, the Women’s Guild will sponsor their annual Dickens’ Soup and Sandwich Luncheon served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall at 401 W. Main St. in West Dundee. Buy luncheon tickets at the door for $8.00 per person. This is a great place to enjoy lunch right across the street from Grafelman Park after the Spirit of Christmas Parade, and every cent taken in at the luncheon is donated to the FISH Food Pantry in Carpentersville.
The annual Dickens’ Bake Sale helps fund the food for the luncheon and will be held in the same location from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
There will be a Christmas Boutique from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Also on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Bethlehem will host the annual Dickens of a Christmas Sale sponsored by the Dundee Township Historical Society. This sale is held in an adjacent room to the lunch and is limited to Christmas decorations and Christmas items. This is the eighth year this unique sale has been held at Bethlehem.
Please come out and enjoy the celebration and support your church and local organizations.
